What is hydro jetting and how does it work?

Is jetting safe for old clay and earthenware pipes?
Yes, at the right pressure. We camera the line first and set the nozzle to suit the pipe's age. A century-old earthenware joint gets a gentler pass than a modern PVC run.
Will jetting stop tree roots coming back?
It cuts roots back to the pipe wall and restores flow, but it cannot remove what drew them. A camera inspection afterwards shows exactly what state a repeat offender is in.
How is jetting different from an electric eel?
An eel pokes a hole through the choke. Jetting scours the full pipe diameter and washes the debris downstream, so grease and silt build-up in particular gets cleared far more completely.
Can you jet stormwater drains as well as sewer lines?
Yes. Stormwater runs here collect silt, leaves and roof debris, and jetting flushes that load out before the next downpour overloads the downhill drainage. Sewer, stormwater and charged lines all jet well.
